Vitalcare SPA is an Algerian medical company based in Algiers which was founded in 2016 by former pioneers of the Algerian pharmaceutical sector. Vital Care has rapidly become the market leader in medical devices, covering multiple activities: manufacturing, importing, distributing and promoting pharmaceutical and medical devices, as well as in vitro medical diagnostic devices. These medical devices, produced entirely locally, are made available to Algerian patients and healthcare professionals, with the constant aim of providing better support for patients at home.
Today, Vital Care Production Distribution et Logistique employs over 350 people at its various industrial sites, distribution centers and administrative headquarters. Through the commitment of its skilled teams and its high-quality partnerships, the company has established itself as a key player on the Algerian market in the manufacture of in vitro diagnostic medical devices, providing patients with devices tailored to their needs to improve their quality of life.

Our production facility at Baba Ali specializes in the manufacture of in vitro diagnostic medical devices in the form of strips and cassettes, notably blood glucose test strips and rapid tests such as ten-parameter urine tests. It covers an area of 1,800 m2 and employs over 200 people; Vitalcare's production facility has been built to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and international standards. Vitalcare was also able to meet the challenge of a controlled technology transfer within a very short timeframe, making it the first full-process producer of blood glucose test strips in Algeria.
